Mercedes Sprinter Messing Vehicle

The Mercedes Sprinter vehicle is ideal for converting into a modern Messing vehicle and is very popular with many well-known site operators.

Special features

  • This vehicle offers a sliding door conversion.
  • It has two sections - saloon and rear.
  • The saloon area has seating for up to 5, overcab locker, outside storage locker and a table.
  • Food, drink and wash facilities are also available.
  • The rear section has wet clothes storage, toilet and wash facilities including a unisex toilet with electric flush, sink area with hot/cold water, handcream and hand towel dispenser.
  • All conversions are individually built to customers' specifications.

Seating

  • M1 tested seats
  • Optional colours, trims, head rests and arm rests.

Entrance

  • Saloon entrance is via sliding door with ample width and height.
  • Cassette step fitted underfloor for entering and exiting.
  • Fitted handrails to both sides of entrance.

Rear Access

  • Offside rear door has underfloor step to messing area.
  • Nearside rear door is blanked off and non-useable.

Interior

  • Ply lined roof, trimmed with fire retardant soft trim.
  • Sides of saloon area are ply lined and covered in an organically coated material.
  • Ply lined floor with anti-slip covering.
  • Floor tracking tested to comply with M1 and M2 standard.
  • Certificate of Conformity, supported by MIRA test documents, supplied with each vehicle.
  • Rear section roof and sides are ply lined and covered in organically coated steel.
  • Floor is ply lined and covered in 5 bar aluminium check plate

Ventilation/Heating

  • Combustion heating.
  • Optional air conditioning or climate control.

Windows
Saloon area has two top sliding bonded windows to the nearside side load door and opposite panel.
